villain is 29/6 over 14 hands, so no real history.

Is turn a bet, or check-fold?

This is what I would suppose his calling range on the turn is

Board: Th 2c Kd 8s
Dead:

equity win tie pots won pots tied
Hand 0: 45.439% 45.10% 00.34% 2917 22.00 { JcJd }
Hand 1: 54.561% 54.22% 00.34% 3507 22.00 { AA, JJ-88, ATs+, K6s+, QTs+, J9s+, T8s+, ATo+, K9o+, QTo+, JTo }

I think the range he gets to the turn with, has some more low pocket pairs and a couple of gutshots he will be folding if I bet though

depends on his button aggresion frequency, he had an option to squeeze OTB, if he 3-bets a lot on the button that would suggest his flop flatting range is weak, if hes passive on the button preflop then his flop range is gonna be stronger

Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light not our darkness that most frightens us and as we let our own lights shine we unconsciously give other people permision to do the same

check, probably fold if he bets anything remotely reasonable
reasons:
- 3 way flop
- we have two jacks which blocks a lot of his straight draws

I think i'd bet the turn then c/f the river if i don't know anything other than that the initial impression is that hes a fish.

Well, I think the flop is going to be a bet in the majority of circumstances, and once we get to the turn his preflop aggression doesn't change most of what he has here. Maybe since he flatted he could have more QK that he didn't squeeze pre.. so his range would actually be weaker on the turn.. ahh idk.

Either way I think this passive/fishy looking guy will be flatting most of his hands preflop and only squeezing premiums, so I think my turn range is OK. It is kind of close though--should I lean towards a bet when I feel like I have 45-55% equity or is check-fold still optimal. I think that is my question here.

It being 3way on the flop makes me think that his turn calling range may be a little tighter than I stoved, probably putting me at 40% or maybe as low as 35%. I think its definitely a x/f then..

Actually, I guess I prefer betting over c/f too since I hate to fold. And because like bober said, he seems like a fish.

Your range is kind of wacky imo. First of all it gives him every combo of AA, AK, KT, which just arent going to be there that often given pre and flop play, and he probably doesn't have every combo of K6s+ either. If he was a good player the fact its 3 way is more of a consideration but I don't think this guy is putting much weight into that. I could see c/fing being fine anyway though, but I wouldnt do it.

my bad wtf I thought I removed AA/ak

yah the range has a lot of the random Kx's just to represent him being a loose fish pre
