There's a big difference between when he decides to call river and shove river.

mind you, i've only been a reg for prolonged amounts of time at 1/4 the stake... but yeh.. 5-handed, button vs sb, runner runner flush with 4-to-straights on board. i dunno, i ship it

most guys just flat with a straight on a flush board vs a river c/r
add to the fact that this guy is like, the most painfully nitty reg postflop, he probably has exactly A8ss or he'd be worried about hero having that one combo of straight flush

this is the second time i've seen your reasoning for spewing (even when we have a strong hand) as being because its only a buyin

terrible logic

hmm.. good point. most likely a massive leak in my game.

i suppose villain would 95% cbet any x8 on flop.. so i guess we can rule out the standard straight a fair amount, right?
regardless, thanks for the tip circa, will think about that

edit: didn't know villain is a massive nit. disregard my cbet any x8 comment

vilain stats and reads would help a lot i think.
tho im a supporter of never folding here the way hand played and call it a cooler in case he has A8ss ^^

if this is the case, are there enough lower flush combos in his range that would make it more profitable for us to check/raise here instead of betting out ourselves?

i guess we also have to consider 8x.
