What amount would you reccomend?

Do you have any reccomendations about the way I played this post-flop?

Absolute minimum of $0.30 preflop, since $0.20 is what you'd raise normally if you were the opening raiser. Since someone has already minraised ahead of you, you should be raising larger. When 3betting preflop usually you at least x3 the opening raiser's bet.

On the flop, don't minraise, raise a lot more. There's already half a dollar in the pot and he's only betting $0.18, so you're just matching his $0.18 and raising him only $0.18 more. He only has to call $0.18 into a pot of $0.85, I'm sure you can see how tiny your raise is. More like $0.70 or $0.80 would be the minimum I'd go for. The downsides of tiny raises are that it's harder for you to get the money in and you're giving him excellent odds to call with a flush draw etc.

A larger raise on the flop makes the turn shove not an overbet, and also lots of fish get scared and fold when you shove so again you can see why it's better to get more money in on the flop for the times he folds the turn just because you're all-in.

Like the person above me said, you'll want to raise more both preflop and on the flop. A common error for people that are just starting out is that they don't raise big enough with their big hands, then try to make up for it on a later street. Opponents playing this low will often call big bets/raises with marginal hands, so try to get as much money in on as early a street as possible when you have a monster. A good guideline for postflop is 3/4th pot, and 4xing preflop as well as 3betting to 3x to triple the open size if someone else has already opened, assuming he opened for a normal amount.
