a) you call preflop and play a pot postflop (calling a lot of flops and raising sets, rarely raising for value on flop or turn but maybe betting for value on the river)
b) you 3bet preflop and check back flop with the intention of calling turns. depending on the river and his betsize you can either call or fold
c) you 3bet preflop with the intention of getting the most value of your good hand
if you are going for c) value then folding is out of the question,
don't do a mix of these
