Please can you explain your thought process on all streets for me including why you choose the specific betsizing?

Flop is fine. Every other street including PF is sooo bad.

Please Kingell... why criticize when you don't say why its bad.

Snowsmile please please tell us what you were thinking in the hand, I really can learn a lot from that because fish use this exact line all the time with a hand like this.

In return I will analyze your thinking and tell you what is closer to 'optimal' and/or point you to some resources!

Well whilst I agree with you - I should have explained - you come across as pretty patronising when you ask OP to explain thought process and saying his line is a fish line isn't exactly helpful either?

@ OP apologies for not explaining - Lemon is right.

Don't ever open limp/call in 6-max unless there is a very speciifc reason (and I can't think of one) - maybe BvB can be argued sometimes.

You are in the CO - you can raise here to steal blinds/btn and play pot usually IP.

Once you get to the flop like this then c/c is ok. Your hand is likely good, his bet size is weak (small bet relative to pot size) and if you raise you are turning your hand in to a bluff as you can't call a 3bet - although raising is not completely terrible as you are OOP and you will likely take the pot down immediately and it will make it easier to play (you are protecting your hand).

On the turn the c/r is a decent plan but your raise size allows him to continue with correct odds with any draw. Raise to $7/$7.50 or so.

On the river you should be bet folding here. If you are raised you are never good (unless he is a complete maniac). Bet something like 3/4 pot and fold to a shove. Obviously if you raise to a decent size on the turn the river is a completely different situation due to stack size.

What do you think he is shoving here for value on a 3 to a straight paired board? The worst hand he is shoving is a str8 unless he is a massive spew monkey who you have seen play something like AA like this then it is a clear fold. This is especially the case as your hand looks just like it is - i.e. 7x - your c/r on the turn makes it look like that. Your weak river bet may induce a raise sometimes from worse but you do not want that on this board!

If you know the enemy and know yourself you need not fear the results of a hundred battles. Sun Tzu
