the rationale here is i have fold equity + he has no chance to escape if i hit... but then all my outs arent clean? i think this was dumb

actually it would be better if there was one club on board it adds to your equity + I don't like doing this on a diamond board because your not gonna get people to lay down flush draws. It would suck if someone calls with A high flush draw and wins w/ ace high.

also on another note he almost mini reraised you, as we all know this is a poor play that weak players make - and against weak players there is very little fold equity because any play you may be making will fly over their heads
