Can I ever bet the turn without shoving river? My bet sizing should be smaller when I bet shove I guess.
Am I wrong to think that we should either c/f flop or be inclined to 3 barrel this board? |

Villain beats 1/2 HU, but plays just 0.25/50 6m. No major history, though I have been decently TAGgy active at the table. |

Turn bet is spewy, and I don't really like river shove either. |

Oh actually it's a 3bet pot, so then I dunno. Probably still might be, but in a single raised pot turn bet would be spewy. |

TBH, I kind of like this line. If villain is a good thinking player and knows you as a thinking player it's kind of a tough spot. If I was in villain's shoes I'd be like, "Damn, this is QQ+ every time here..." |

on this river i doubt he folds anything but missed draws so imo check call is better than shove. That said turn is also bad card to barrel 67 87 9T 79 Jx which is more than half his range won't fold |

Yeah, the turn card is a bad card to barrel if we have air here as many hands on this board makes pair + draw but hero is taking a line that looks exactly like a big pair.
But unfortunately, it's a 3-bet pot and people don't fold pairs in 3-bet pots =[. I still like, though. |

u can consider c/f the flop.
that being said betting turn is bad unless u have a specific read.
and obv. jam river is bad period. |

Researchers used brain scans to show that when straight men looked at pictures of women in bikinis, areas of the brain that normally light up in anticipation of using tools, like spanners and screwdrivers, were activated. | |

You c/f river when you bet the turn? any made hand with a 9 calls, and most floats have a gutshot on the turn and he will call some of the time.

Weak made hands are >50% of his range so thats why you check the river?
Thats actually why I 3barrel, because a shit ton of his flop calls and floats will now have equity on turn but should fold the river a lot. |

you mentioned he also played HU so don't expect him to fold pair on the river after calling turn lol, he's getting huge odds |

Yeah I agree, as I said pretend that I managed my betsizing according to my plan and we have 75% of the pot bet on river
EDIT: maybe the 8 actually makes the shove worse than a rag. I will try to break down his range later, I got no brain energy now -.- |
