it's because he's a fish
if you were up against a decent player, they would usually need at least AT to bet those amounts. |

when i called on the river i was 99% sure i was beat. after i thought about it on the flop, i said to myself AT or 2 pair, but ruled out the possibility of a set because, from what ive seen, he would check raise or check call with such a powerful hand. on the turn, i improved my hand by getting a flush draw and so i felt that the odds of hitting my flush/3rd 10/higher 2 pair were good enough to justify a call. after the river came blank, i took a long time before making, even in my own opinion, a poor call. and then the chips magically moved over to me. |
