Player 1 is halfstack multitabler, and a TAG came along as well.

How do you proceed? I am really lost here, I never played 50bb tag at NL50....
Do you think betting really small like $12 would be viable?
Do you like my pf size?

First instinct is to check and react to their bet sizing/action as I don't wan to get committed against the half stack, 3way.
