this seems fine... what are you two talking about...
why raise pre? build the pot out of position with a small suited connector vs a likely loose passive station? also do not use general advice like " keep pot small when limped pre " it will limit your game.
turn and river are questionable and really depends on your villians and your image at the table. its likely one has a higher flushdraw and will call turn so you are going to have to fire 3 barrells. also the ace isnt exactly the best card because i can easily see a fish having a lot of aces here.
generally i'd check turn and reevaluate from there. especially with no reads on the other players.
