is he triple barreling with worse top pairs? will he triple barrel with missed flush draws, or 98 type hands? If the answer is yes then your play is probably fine. If the answer is no then you should be folding the river.
Alternatively good play is raising flop. It puts him in a shit spot since it's such a wetboard. If he gets it in then you are left with an easy albeit high varience choice. If he is the type to shove with the NFD, or FD+overs (KQs), FD+pair, 67/98 hands as well as 2pair, set, overpair and TJ/QT/KT plus maybe air occasionally then it's a raise call where you will have odds. If he plays weaker post flop then he will either fold now or he will almost always fold to your turn bet if you make one, otherwise you can check turn and likely river also and get to a showdown cheaper then if he triple barreled. |
