one possible reasoning is:
preflop: let's play this hand in position
flop: let's float and take this on the turn
turn: after you try to take it away and he does the checkraise you start to think what hands would he play like this... possibly a queen, but most other hands with showdown value would more or less be turned into a bluff taking this line... this makes villains range quite polarized

guess this hand would look not as cool if he happens to show up with A2s or even AJ, but you probably have a lot more stats+notes+memories to know more about his 3betting range here

And it just so happens to me they always bluff with crap hands that somehow beat me when I make a call like this -.-
