I don't mind slow-playing the flop at all, but you need to put some pressure on the turn with the hearts out.
In my experience, unless it's quads, very few hands are worth slow-playing past the flop.
EDIT: If you're worried about scaring away 77-99 on the turn, don't be. What's the point? To score a tiny bet on the river? It won't work out for you in the long run. If he has an overpair, he'll pay you off. If he has a set, he'll pay you off; most other hands won't give you shit anyway. |
