i don't like turning it into a bluff. You are not repping much and because of the 2 spade flop he puts you on a missed draw.
If you for some reason have ambitions towards getting him to fold a pair, bet the turn. Him checking this river is no indicator of weakness anyway, and you have more fold equity + equity on the turn.
