I haven't seen him limp broadway but I haven't really seen many showdowns
my image is very aggressive but he is definitely not raising as a bluff cuz he's, again, a passive fish

If he made the 2nd nuts and or the nuts on the turn he'd raise so easily. Just put yourself in his shoes, are you trying to win a small / decent pot when you both are 400+ BB deep with the nuts? |

fish don't think about stacking people/stack to pot ratio to get all in, etc. On the turn a fish with the nuts wants to keep chaucer in. On the river he would try to make sure he gets called. I think I would fold just because he has an 8 minimum, even though an 8X of diamonds seems like the most likely holding. If you think he's ever gonna bluff you with JT/missed diamonds I would prob check-call this river, but if he's as passive as you say bet/fold might be best. |
