im not super familiar with this guy but so far he seems nitty. i feel im up against a bigger fd so often. I think he does 3bet his tens here preflop so his made hand range is super small. But like any fd beats me. calling and playing this hand OOP doesnt seem that good to me. Just a cooler or what?

also him showing up with this hand shows me that even though hes nitty, hes bad .

i like your analysis. both of your value hands here are extremely narrow.

if he thought a big part of your range here was flush draws, specifically the Ax flush draw and some combo flush draw, then i can see him sorta playing it like this. i don't know how inclined u are to just flat with a hand like KQs (i tend to, i don't know exactly why though, prob has something to do with any overcard being a good card)

i think it's a cooler, but i'll say that in these sb v bb spots where neither party is given that much credit, and given your aggro image (considering he went with it with a J9s, maybe a combination of being bad + frustrated?), flatting the flop and c/r ai turn isn't bad either.

you check/raise the turn when hit or when you miss as well?

well in bvb where generally ppl give you no respect with a fd + gutshot you have 12 outs, if you are against a higher flush draw you still got 9 (only not if he has 6hxh) outs so i think you want to get it in on flop.

I dont think its terrible to show up with J9hh in villains spot either or am I way off base on that one?

Im only good at poker when I run good

getting it in with J9s seems pretty marginal to me. flatting and extracting value when you hit is way more profitble then getting it in with Jh.

yeh, i think folding out other draws, esp considering all the gutshots on this board as well, is alot of money won

But you just said he has nitty image and he even made you consider raise folding a combo draw, wouldn't that make it a good re-raise? Or are you perceived as a tight player that doesn't raise his cbet wide as well?

EDIT: Oh he raised and you re-raised, I guess he shouldn't expect you to ever bluff there

With your hand i would prefer bet/shoved allin over his flop raise. i would take your line with like a pair+flush draw or nutflush draw.

there are no facts only interpretations

my point is, if he raises flop he wins 8$ + the pot, whereas you could extract more value by flatting i think. this + getting it in with Jh vs my all in range seems marginal.
