LemOn[5thF]   Czech Republic. Feb 10 2011 07:13. Posts 15163

a ton of draws I get value from, and I expect virtually never to get bluff raised

I played without a hud and didn't see his stats but he seemed kind of fishy, seeing that he is 9/0 makes it an easy check on the river lol
I was just wondering if it was too weak of a check ;o

The turn raise is dumb, and illogical. The way the hand plays you have no idea if he has a made hand or not when he bets turn. You're crossing your fingers and hoping he has a draw and not top pair or a set or two pair.

You're turning your showdownable hand into a bluff, not into value.

By the way, no point in betting river when he calls your turn raise as all Qs or better will call and all draws will fold.

What better hand folds besides JJ? :O There are a lot of worse hands that a fishy guy will call, and if he has 2p+he will rr, and if he has Qx most of the time he will check rvr and I will see showdown anyway.

And river snap check was my plan then I was wondering if i missed a vbet I hate doing that ;o

9/0 is fishy, lolwut?

How is river a vbet at all once he calls your turn raise? Why wouldn't villain play AQ/KQ/JQ on turn?

River is just wayyyyy too thin to bet.

I had just a few hands on him and saw him limp and he had bronzestar.

I am sorry for thinking that a bronzestar limping midstack at NL25 is a (tight)fish :O

Agreed with the river, bet would be inconsistent with my plan anyway

it's not crossing your fingers and hoping, it's called looking at combinatorics, there's more draws or worse pair+draws or worse T's in most random players range than there are Q's/2p/sets. granted him being 9/0 (albeit over a small sample) may change this, but he said he wasn't using a HUD at the time.

Interesting spot. When you check the flop, what is your intentions before seeing the turn or river?

I am a degen. Do not believe in any of my advice.

Also, how do you post hands like this? Is this a HEM feature? Can you do it with PT3 ?

If I was villain I'd try to bluffcatch the shit out of this river cuz the only hand that makes sense is TT and I'll have already put the fish label on you from your line and the turn minraise. Also why are you not c-betting the flop if you weren't even looking at stats.

this is actually a pretty cool line but once you ask about vbetting the river it kinda loses its purpose.

lol true ,asking about a bet on the river indicates that you did this for the wrong reasons. Which I doubt, but then why would you ask about a vbet??

new shit has come to light... a-and... shit! man...

My plan in the hand was clear, raise to get value from draws and and making him rr 2p+ and and check river with Qx against which I would otherwise call a river bet against when I flat, or avoid having to fold when one draw hits and the other one misses and make a pretty big mistake. So according to my plan that went well betting makes no sense

But then I saw results and the generalized phrase fish=>micros=>good hand came into my head ;o
