meh...I guess most of his range is 5x and draws here, despite limping I didn't see him be too stationy yet. Go for it on the river?

This is a limped pot. Why not iso raise the limper? I know we oop, but come on he is limping, you can iso raise and take down flop so often vs these players. Also the BB is pretty aggro and is likely to squeeze raise in BB here vs you two limpers.

Anyway, I think you have to bet the flop now as you have good equity, turn bricks, still think its a bet here, but I think you gotta give up on river.

33/28 would lead me to believe he is somewhat of a competent player, who is probably never folding flop cbet on this board, so his calling range is wide, however I do not think he calls your turn bet with air. Because it was limped pre, its hard to define his range, either way, I dont think hes gonna fold too often on the river, esp as you have been donking into him on flop and turn on a pretty much dead board. Your hand looks very polarized on river, its either the nuts or air. I expect him to call you here a high % of time.

I am a degen. Do not believe in any of my advice.

Not really we can't. Pokerstars sure, but not Merge. fold on flop is way lower there and fish have 5 buttons to bet with and most of them use them, so raising to take it down on flop works way worse than on stars and I end up bloating the pot oop with a shit hand. Its kinda reverted, fish is aggressive until proven otherwise at Merge where at Stars its the opposite

Yeah I thought he is *somewhat* competent... this is limped pot and I go blazing bet 3 streets...Is it really a snapcall with 5x here? Won't he fold at least his busted fds or 67?

yea I agree dont iso with marginal hands oop
river basically change nothing , fish would snap call here and dont think too deep
I think if ace hit the board would be best card for you to bluff with

Oh I see. I am used to iso raising limpers on FTP all day long, even with hands like 68s oop lol.

busted draws should be a PART of his range along with 5x and 4x...I guess he needs to fold at least some made hands to make this +ev though

I iso limpers with total bullshit at Stars as they fold a lot of flops and when they do bet they tell you what they have based on their betsize... but I got totally burned at Merge and my dead money hunting style doesn't work there -.-

I was talking about pre-flop play. I thought you were on the big blind. As for the river, is he competent enough to lay down non-ace flush draws on the turn? If yes, then I'd check here because he might look you up with an ace. And I really don't think he'll give up any made hands here. He's on the loose side, he will simply not fold.

I think pretty much nobody is competent to fold any sd+ at Merge NL25 for a couple bucks

I got snapped with K5 which I was hoping would fold some of the time :/

I'd much prefer a c/r to a bet since his betting range when checked to is pretty weak, and with all those missed draws out there we can't expect him to fold a made hand to a bet.

Researchers used brain scans to show that when straight men looked at pictures of women in bikinis, areas of the brain that normally light up in anticipation of using tools, like spanners and screwdrivers, were activated.
