we both started the hand with about 250bb stacks, so there's over 800$ left to play with |

without a special read, what would the argument be for doing anything besides b-f? (not meant to be patronizing, just a question) |

generally he is sort of bluffcatching with some kind of (over)pair since people play like my line with a polarized range of sets and flushdraws on a board like this I'd think
since the draws also got there, why would we get more value considering my range? |

I actually think this is a super awkward spot because this is the most amazing card to bluff for your range.
I almost want to say you might be able to justify a c/f if he pots it depending on his tendencies and playstyle. |

The other issue being villain probably has FDs in his range. |

i agree your flop raise looks polarized, but don't you think part of that polarization, at least in his mind, will include air? i mean not a lot of hands hit that flop. i don't how you play and how he views you, but if he's not a fish, you're probably going to have to be making plays a significant % of the time in order to make flatting 43s profitable here pf no? i can understand the logic behind saying he should fold something like AA here based on your range, but do you really think he folds that? add in KK, a certain % of herocalls from midpairs 77-JJ, and maybe a small % of oddly played QQ/66/55/22/65s, i can't imagine not betting river.

this makes no sense to me, if it's an amazing card to bluff isn't that all the more reason to pound if with your value hands? or if you think his folding frequency is way too high i can see check-calling river, but i think c/r is insane spew if you're not from sweden. |

c/r is definitely insane spew, I said c/f (which sounds kinda stupid too but I dunno).
What I mean is in this instance his folding freq is really high which is of course no reason we can't vbet. The reason I'm concerned about betting is the hands that villain does not fold might have more flushes than hands we beat. |

wooops, reading comprehension ftw
now im curious, on pokerstove is there a way to account for all, say, 2-gapper clubs 63cc+ without manually typing every one?
i do think JJ-99/AA herocalls a pretty significant % of the time here tho. |

As far as I'm concerned, no for the FDs . It sucks having to type them all in.
I think 99-JJ hero calling be at a really low freq unless this guy was major horribad. |
