there is zero fold equity on pokerstars nl25 since the americans have come so I am not sure |

the point of raising on flop isnt to make him fold, since he sure isnt folding AT here. The point is to disguise your flush when it does hit so you can stack him, especially since you were both a stack and a half deep
But in general I think the river raise was fine since I doubt he'd call much more |

okay so you tend to raise it not really because you also have a straight draw but rather because everyone's a deep stack.
assuming he has like $14 in front of him you'd call then ? |

you want him to fold. you have a big draw but you're still an underdog. fold equity is what makes these draws profitable. |

I missed that hes button, so he could've been playing a wide range of hands. So raise flop is definitely good considering his stack. Also, you have a combo draw with the gut straight too. If he has say, 14, thats tricky I guess since any raise bigger than min commits him to the pot (if he calls) Up to you, my game isnt good enough to be giving advice |
