we had some aggro 3betting history hu at this table in a few hands so i figured he was gonna 100% bet turn.. and if hes not super strong a double barrel might get him to convince himself he needs to fold |

Thing is your hand is too vulnerable to risk a check back. So you always want to get as much money in as possible. If you have a hand that can improve like QxKh AhKx Then i like a check shove much more. You gain fold equity which u want with a pair +draw hand. And you can still improve to a strong hand if called. |
