You don't have to cbet this, but if you do, you also don't have to make it this big. That turn card is more complex than it looks for you to barrel if you consider villain's calling range on flop. |

I don't like any of your barrels. People will flat the flop with pairs which is a problem for the first barrel. The problem with the second is no-one will fold a jack because trips is really pretty and that's pretty much the problem with the third one too. The problems with the second two are additional problems for the first since you can't carry on barrelling since if no clubs come they'll simply put you on the draw and call a second and you won't have any idea what to do on the river. |

oh yeah and i usually bet $2 into this flop when its multiway. usually gets regs off their air as much as a 2/3 pot would. |

works for me against almost all of the weaker regs at .5/1 and or the heavy multi-tablers. the player 1st to act to this cbet is hardly going to float as they still have a caller behind them. Also the bet reveals their hand because if they call @ strongest they will have a middle pair, which makes it so i can bluff them off it later on in some cases. As all jacks/ect are raised for value on the flop. If the bet doesnt work vs the better regs you can always go back to standard. |
