basic hand only had 12 hands at the table. Villains are unknown, typical loose, relatively passive
CO ~62/15
SB 47/0

I suppose this is about all you can do with no actual reads. In the long run though, is this play too weak? What are some other options? I've always felt like it's a leak to just call in order to hit an A or Q or to try to get to SD.

this is 100% fine 3way, i probably even fold HU just because i dont expect a random to be doing this to exploit me or on total air all that often

this discussion is about HU in this kind of spot, though :

its a bit of a side topic, but in my experience, if you gave me two hands, both of them are just single-raise pots, i have AQ. in one of them, i'm PFR and villian donkbets out, similarly to the hand above. in another one, i flatted, and villian is pfr, and villian cbets, i'd rather raise the cbet than the donkbet, in general, because most people have more air in their cbet than donkbet

of course, thats just my theory..

i dont really like flatting here much unless you have a really good read, hence why im talking like its a raise fold spot. in general "raise if he has enough air" or fold should be pretty sufficient logic imo though, unless you're getting really in depth (calling is kind of bad if you are just going to fold at some point on turn or river to more aggression because you just get run over)

Thanks, I like your theory on cbets vs donk bets.

And now that you mention it, I do believe that is where it becomes more of a leak for me...peeling 1 or 2 streets, usually 1, and then folding to any further aggression.
