uhm, is that your reasoning for not betting turn? Its not like he's going to fold any pair here on this turn anyway

I wanted to x/r turn vs Kx which he isn't going to raise vs a bet I think.. board pairing cards are pretty scary to fish too.. doubt I'm getting 3 barrels out of his 1pair hands.. open to suggestions

bigredhoss   Cook Islands. Apr 09 2011 17:35. Posts 8649

i think c/r or c-c flop is better depending on villain, if you donk flop i don't see the point of not also betting turn. aside from making some FPS-ish assumptions.

edit - meh didn't see villain was a fish, i like flop lead a little more in that case but i don't agree with the turn check, i'm not sure i agree with what you said about fish viewing pairing board as scary when you bet, in my experience they don't like to believe.

I really don't like leading this texture because you just miss out on a cbet a lot.

I would most definitely bet turn because if villain is peeling flop with midpairs and such the K is a card that will give him even more of a reason to peel.

River bet is standard.

This.

Researchers used brain scans to show that when straight men looked at pictures of women in bikinis, areas of the brain that normally light up in anticipation of using tools, like spanners and screwdrivers, were activated.

if you check turn you should CR river IMO

Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light not our darkness that most frightens us and as we let our own lights shine we unconsciously give other people permision to do the same

because your pot odds are bad, you're out of position, you're one in eight (or thereabouts) to flop a set and assuming he cbets almost every time you c/f 7 out of 8 times and might nto even win a big pot when you hit as a set.

His hand range to raise the button are so loose, or should be, that theres not alot of flops where you flop a set where you're going to get value on your set. Here you hit a dream flop/turn (didnt see villains hand) and you won 38 dollars (+ preflop) from the 5 dollar preflop call..

Any of this make any sense?

in general i think raise>fold>call pre?? Any1 disagree? obv opponent depending, there are some spots where this is a call preflop with 100 bb but not sure many, like might want to call pre if button is massive station fish, or 2% raise preflop(from btn) or bb is a complete retard station too and u keep him in

Because there shouldn't be TOO much that is calling the river but isn't betting it if checked too -_- esp with what his range should be with flatting that flop

K on turn is the perfect card to dbl barrel, and then 3rd barrel if called

Seat 5: patatino showed [Qd 2d] and won ($609,730) with a pair of Twos

True but playing a hand that flops badly and habitually c/r flops oop vs fish or good players is going to be hard to pull off, I mean if you can play it good enough oop i suppose a flat may be better than a fold vs fish but i believe a r/r is still better for an overall game.
