flop bet kind of thin I guess, figured I could continue on a lot of turns BUT maybe I should just give up because I will run into sets about 90% of the time?
should I check fold flop
what about on this nice turn card
check fold river?

Betting flop is OK, you have the backdoor nut flush draw and many turn cards can scare a potential flop caller or improve your hand significantly. This turn card is a bad one for you though, so check/folding is the best play. Once you bet the turn, there is really nothing else to do now then to push and pray he calls with some pocket pair or one pair of some sort. |

You can just c/f flop if you want, but you can barrel flop with the consideration of barreling turn diamond as well. I also like the jam on the river. It could induce some hero calling.
The problem is that you are UTG raiser, when you bet into a multiway pot of four players, you are repping very strong here, and is likely going to get called by a strong ranges of hands. River jam, as much as I like it, I'm not sure if this is the situation that I would like it the most. This is because not only the calling range from both flop and turn is likely going to be very strong from villain, but it's also going to be rough to get value from worse hands on that river jam. Because they might just convince themselves that you really have it and just fold like TT on the river since you are UTG.
So when you get called on the river there, you are probably beat a lot of the times. Although as played, it's probably a jam almost always.
I'll probably checkfold flop.
edit: I thought the turn was a diamond. Barreling that card is probably not good lol.. |

And you should take a break from poker or watch some CR/DC videos if you are honestly taking c/f river into account. |
