he is 23 /18 10% 3 bet 42% steel 350 hands
so i 3 bet for value
when he calls his range becomes kinda narrow AJ+ and JJ+
i check flop cause then he will call a turn bet and most likley river bet , too with JJ-KK
i thought he would bet Ak AQ AJ on flop
kinda confused about this hand
i called the small river raise cause he might think my range is weighter towards non A hands more when i check flop ? |

you say you 3bet for value but you think when he calls he has AJ+ JJ+? how did you get value exactly?
postflop you're getting "pwnd" just as much or more by better hands when you check the flop as when you bet. at 25nl ppl are probably pretty bad hand readers so this line may get you more value vs some players but you really don't look like you're bluffing taking this line. As for calling his river raise I think your argument is kindof weird, you think you're representing like KK taking this line yet you expect to get more value doing this than just betting the flop? I think it's pretty hard for him to be bluffing given his flop/turn line + the stakes + his raise size but you're getting like 5:1 with toppair good kicker in a 3bet pot, calling can't be that bad. |

If i see a reg do this I am floating his cbets on boards like this and value towning him when im strong.
check calling on this flop turns ur hand face up IMO, cbetting keeps ur range wider |
