Ok what the hell...
Is this like always nuts from a tight guy?
Should I assume his betting range is weaker when he does this presumably with nuts?
Is bluffing like this good and why should I do it?
I don't understand c/r as PFR at all, is there any book/vid article that focuses on it? |

Usually nuts in my experience, but I dont really understand what ppls reasons for c/r as PFR are either. I never do it myself.
I saw you writing somewhere else that not c/r-ing as PFR leaves you unbalanced. Why is that? If you never c/r then you dont have a c/r-range to balance and you should be able to balance your betting and checking ranges.

As in when you check, you either always fold or bluffcatch weak range oop. With me you can pretty much always know that I am weak when I check and you can freely abuse it, it would be nice if a reg knew I don't c/f 100% or fold to barrels of the time.
And you know, doing stuff that people don't expect takes them out of their comfort zone, like this guy did to me, I am pretty sure I would spew some of the time when I am tilted. And it's also a ridiculously cheap bluff, I was quite aggro and he expected me to bet a ton and he had a very tight image, c/r as a bluff is like duper awesome here against me
I'll maybe try it out here and there and see what happens ? |

Until very recently I played just like you describe, with a super weak checking range. In theory you can of course be balanced without c/r-ing but that means you have to c/c with some hands that can stand 3 barrels, which feels pretty meh, so c/r-ing might be a good idea I guess. Good luck. |
