Really dislike these spots. A cbet, and I got like half my stack in there. But I decided to cbet anyway because I figured he would have some Ax in his range that I can get him to fold if I fire here.
This guy's a winning reg too, with good winrate as well. So he may have just owned me here.

Just wondering - is he really spewy enough to 3bet/call4bets with Ax? And if so, wouldn't be in your interest to check the flop, allowing him to check back or bluff with his Ax? It also gives you a chance to c/f if necessary since this is a terrible board for your hand where I don't think any TT+ that 3b/calls4b is going to be folding on this board.
I just feel like there are some inconsistencies in your thought processes here. If you are 4betting AK for value, then you can't cbet the flop for 50% of your stack and then just c/f turn. I would much rather just c/f this terrible flop or, if his 4bcalling range is really that wide then c/jam to get the rest of my money in.
Maybe you are right. I definitely don't like getting half my stack in only to fold to a turn jam..-_-
For the record, I only figured out that he was a winning player after he had left the table. This hand had happened when he had like first sat down. First orbit, I'm sure. But regardless, I don't think my play is optimal. I play poorly OOP when people call my 4bet -_-..
