A good friend and a scholar recently recommended that I should perhaps move down to refine my game, and I get a very interesting spot right of the bat against a very aggressive regular.
He pots it, which indicates strength at these limits so I will raise 100% of the time, but is that correct in these spots and would you throw a brick at me if he cbets $0.5 and I just flat and expect him to barrel a ton? |

standard raise. |
Yeah, I would raise 100% of the time, protect, people see me as a spazz (and at micros its strong hand=raise unless I have a very good read)
Although I definitely can see some merit to calling against good frequent barrel guy, would you consider flatting if you were playing a good aggro tag reg? |

i would just raise for the simple reason that 10nl players will still always respond poorly to it so flatting wont make a lot of sense and ill just try to get as much money in with my hand here. |

result orientated
raise flop. many turns complete draws if you raise turn he'll figure you completed a draw whereas here you rep a smaller range.
not that these players think this way.
when i was on nl25 and flopped a set it was 100% raise in EVERY SPOT. |

as said before
you should not refine your strategy. you should focus on playing ABC POKER until you reach nl100.By then ppl start thinking. (not a lot)
i swear playing 18/15 on these limits is super profitable and easiest poker no-variance ever. |

Agreed
Apart from 3betting wide first hand against regs which will nobody take away from me playing good fundamental poker without big bluffs calls folds etc. with A game mindset most of the time is my focus now.
But you can't expect me to post boring ABC hands what's the point in that I post those on poker strategy where people are paid to go through my dull stuff
|
Reason I never really post my hand is most are pretty boring. But I rather make money. |
