Villain barrels quite a bit actually. River, I figured if he has a two pair or better, he's jamming (pot was 44.75, his stack was 33.20). Frankly, I thought he would be jamming AK/AQ here too. Instead, he had made a shitty bet, so I was like, "well, there's no way he has my two pair beat because all the hands that beats me would've jammed already". So I went for a thin value on his AK/AQ, and uh.. he shows up with a set of 8 and owned me. God damn it, his play is so awful.
