Fwiw, I think villain played terribly postflop. But that 3betting small pairs is interesting, something I've been thinking a lot about. Will have to experiment. |

I agree, the villian played terribly postflop. Ah well, now you can call them down more easily when they 3barrel in 3bet pots.
regarding 3betting pp's, only do something if you know why its done
I myself 3bet small pp's vs people with a wide range. It's better to 3bet the button with a small pp than call because small pp's are almost always going to be up against a range that has 2overcards to it,( all the shitty hands people open on the button like 6js are just as strong as qk in this situation) so even though the range your up against when playing vs the button is pretty weak, the range is even more difficult to play against than an utg range, because you also have no implied odds vs a button range. Also, yeah if you have enough fold equity to begin with when your 3betting a small pocket pair, you dont even have to do anything postflop to make money, true story. The times you do flop a set you can make a lot of money. As an added bonus, your range is also more diverse. |

Yeah.. considering his pf3bet range, I don't think this is a cooler at all, instead I got my self into this situation. |

these people are very easy to exploit, just call and reraise any flop, since pocket pairs only flop sets 12.5% of the time, its fuck tough to continue postflop with such a bullshit 3b range |

furthermore he is butchierng his postflop by not having sets in his flat range
consider opening TT and the flop comes 234, normally if you bet and get check raised you are in a horrible spot, but if he cant have 22, 33, 44 beause he always 3-bets them, TT is now the pure nuts, this dumbass is not a tough player |
