not at all, its close and read-dependent but fold cant be too bad rly

Browsing through your hand histories makes me wonder that you might not be aware these games are possibly play money. Have you ever tried to cash out? - Kapol

I like the fold. People will not suddenly turn sdv (which is hard to be less than 2 pair here) into a random bluff on the river very often at all.

Researchers used brain scans to show that when straight men looked at pictures of women in bikinis, areas of the brain that normally light up in anticipation of using tools, like spanners and screwdrivers, were activated.

What flushes does he have?
Aren't most combo draws shoving flop?

I'd think like... 89/87ss and what else?
Also isn't this a stubborn A8/A6 just as often as a flush?
I'm really really really confused why you guys are folding river and I'd love to hear why you think we're beat here enough to fold this

i think those are valid points (except the stubborn A8/A6 part, i don't think that's valid) and that's why it's close. i agree stuff like T9ss/97ss are probably getting it in on the flop most of the time, but not as often with stuff like pair+FD or gutshot+FD hands. could also have KT/KJss and maybe some other stuff depending how wide he opens from HJ.

even still, there's not that many FD combos left...but you still have to weigh that against the likelihood that he could take this line with anything besides a flush. with the action it's safe to rule out 88/66/QQ/KK, and any 2 pair combos. it could make sense for him to be betting AA/AQ on the river after getting there this way, except the betsizing is kind of ridiculous for that (Hero has 88.65 left and villain is betting 73.50). actually i think his river betsize is probably bad regardless. passive-passive-BIG BET also seems consistent with how most fish would play their flushes.

also this might not be relevant since i'm assuming villain is bad b/c of riverbet size, but Hero's line looks pretty drawish, esp with his turn betsize, so villain shouldn't be too inclined to bluff the river oop if he's thinking.

or he could have the nut flush and realize hero's line looks like a draw and wants to get max value from low-mid flushes.

anyway, i rationalize it as very polarized range + there's some reason for him to not be bluffing.
