Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light not our darkness that most frightens us and as we let our own lights shine we unconsciously give other people permision to do the same | |

I don't like variance so I'd just check/call here. Unless I have a strong read on a player that he likes to turn his hand into a bluff with high frequency on river with missed draws and pairs that are lower than J and higher than 8. |

c/c is much worse than bet/fold. if we cant bet fold in this spot then ck/f is the best line. as he will have more hands to call with light than bluff himself or VB light |

check call is only to be used in this situation if you think you can get more value than b/f. So i guess if a queen is betting whenever you check and missed draws. and possibly underpairs that are now nothing, then yeah c/c is better.
obviously though that's not the case since all the high stakes players are advising bet/fold. |

there are enough draws that missed to justify a check. Also there arent many hands that he can call me with that he doesnt vbet if i check to him. Thats why I like to c/c or check raise with some history.

Yeah well, I think it depends a lot on the villain. What did you end up doing Giyom, if you don't mind me asking. |

if this guy is a reg i definitely disagree with him having enough draws. if he has made hands and VBs them poorly such as like QT here which imo is terrible VB i guess thats fine. but i wouldnt count on it without some decent history. |
