Why did you decide to reraise him on the flop? It seems to me he might be aggressively playing his 9s to stop the drawing hands that are very likely with no preflop raises, in which case your ahead in the hand barring him having A-9, since you have 9 flush outs and 5 outs to hit two pair / trips which would be better than his 9s. The problem is, if he hits a monster, say 7-8 or 55,66,99 all of which are taking a flop to hit a set your remaining outs are the flush draw, and since his raise of $3.10 gives you about 4:1 return on calling it, so it wouldn't be a bad call on the flush draw, so why not just call and see if you improve, maybe get a little more information on the turn to see. |

I disagree. Flushdraw and a pair is good to play aggressive, especially since you really don't represent a flush draw in that way. He also build up the pot a bit to make it more profitable when he hits.
It's only with these rare occasssions when the opponent have a set It might be bad to rereraise, but how could you know that. Played fine imo. |
