This is the first time he donked in blinds, 8% donk bet.
Saw me do a huge bluffcatch with A high just a hand earlier against another guy over 2 streets.
Just calling flop folding turn is ok?
Is raise an option with our blockers somewhere? |

iam watching your posts for a quite time and i think you are leveling yourself too much. This is nl25, almost 100% decisions should be like "he bets, i`ve got nothing/low pair, i just fold".
And
| Just calling flop folding turn is ok? |
This is the worst line possible |

So just fold flop? It seems too weak and I don't understand donkbets
And agree on the leveling thing, my scripts are well fancy and my intuitive decision making usually starts with 'how can I outplay him', then 'what's his range' then 'what's my image' and things you mentioned come later |

u can reraise flop, u have some equity for 2 pair and a bdoor FD if he calls you can barrel turn on clubs and ofc A/4. |

it depends , most depends on what hands he could donk with
if he always donk with strong range then nothing u can do here but just fold
and this is a really dry board , so you could put him on value hand >>> bluff , which should make ur decision eaiser |

I loaded the rascal to HEM to search for patterns, and this was the only time he donked into PFR in blinds, and I have only 6 hands that went to showdown on him, 240 hands sample is complete bullshit
Anyway, it seems you guys want to raise or fold the flop rather than to call? My plan was to fold pretty much any turn to a bet without backdoored fd or when we hit |

Usually when I see donkbets like this it's with hands like mid pairs (55-TT) or random hands like KJo not knowing what to do when faced a bet.
I think raising is good for some purposes.
First, it kind of defines his hand clearly. He will probably fold a lot of hands that beat yours, and only continue with his stronger range. Second, if he folds, you can put a note on him for donking this flop and folding to a raise.
Calling flop with the intention of re-evaluating turn is not that horrible, but it puts you in a tough spot when faced another bet. In this case I really don't like calling again. Perhaps making your hand into a bluff? But then you should consider shoving river if called. |

my thoughts on this hand: You have ~ 15 good turn outs where you can most likely continue profitably, which is about 30% in the deck. and you have like 28% pot odds. even if you don't hit the turn you can just fold without a good read to continue. that'd be the reason for a profitable flop call imo.
as for raising I agree with Spasticlnk, you can define your hand better and it makes the turn easier to play, and gives you free card
but I can't tell which one is better..

folding flop is a mistake here (pot odds) really think you played it fine |
