ppl woudld not fold any value hand even ace high on this flop
i would just check/fold and move on
and hes not btn or co so i would put him on stronger range |

If you dont think he'll fold A high to a flop cbet then firing two barrels should be profitable. |

it's very narrow thinking. what to do on non A/K turn and river if he calls flop and turn ? i think it's better to c/f tho |

c/f seems too weak, how often are u 3betting him?
if ur 3b is 6% and he doesn't like to fold much, then you can play ur hand postflop as QQ+ imo. So fire 3 barrels. If board gets really ugly or you get raised on flop/turn, you can fold vs a standard player. otherwise i like the agressive route oop |

If you spew 100bb here by triple barreling and get called down by a player who can't fold a small pair, that's not necessarily on villain for not recognizing your narrow 3betting range and not adjusting properly (by folding). It's more on you for not properly specifying the villain well enough to avoid this from happening. Or, you could spew a stack here with ace high and then tell yourself, "oh, it's all fine and dandy to just spew away 100bb once in a while for the purpose of balancing." Then perhaps you can criticize what a terrible call villain made, how he'd be spewing gbucks to you while the reality is that you may have just triple barrel jammed with ace high.
Let's not forget why we 3bet AK. Amongst many other reasons, one of the main, and the most rudimentary reason why is to pair a A or K on flop and valuetown the shit out of our opponents who may call with dominated range. Unfortunately, you didn't pair neither your A or K. Just how bad could it be to just check/fold then? |

What I mean is that if he calls flop with all his Ahigh hands but folds them on the turn I think we make more money by double barreling than by check/folding flop. Even if we just c/f river every time when we miss.
c/f is never bad of course, I like Arirangs post. But except for big pairs AK is probably the hand in your 3b range which plays best after cbetting. |
