it's a tough call to which one is the better play. limping lets you see a cheaper flop as you are going to be c/f so often. but building the pot like he did made it very viable to get in stacks when he does hit a set
imo having the lead pf gives you a chance to win pf as well as on the flop when you cbet and is better, even if you just assess the superior play through aggression |

Raise only if you know he folds to flop cbet around 60% and more on average. Otherwise ABC standard should be always to limp, you will have 3 overcards on flop oop some 83% of the time.
Also you bet too small, on the flop a fish won't fold any pair when you pot it, and later in the hand I'd just target Ax (and hearts on turn) and pot all streets |
