He didn't cbet with a fish in the hand and now he check calls... He either has a very strong and is being a gaylord or (much more likely, the fish was really fishy)he has some kind of weak pair or AK AQ maybe?
I had about 70 hands and he had similar stats, how much would you bet here or would you just check and go to showdown?
Do you like a small bet around $1-$2 to get a call from his weak hands? |

So do you agree with the $1-2 to try to make him call those hands?
And probably barrel some 70% if we have air ourselves right? |

i bet 2/3 here, he can only be slowplaying JJ and maybe 66, every other hand he is folding to 3 barrels.. dont think he ever has AJ QQ-AA here. |

Easy check against a nit utg. We can't expect him to call the few worse hands he can have every time, yet sick weak nits can easily c/c any jack. Your hand needs no protection and you can save the same money by folding to a river lead after checking and, if you so choose, make the same money betting the river against the same calling range with the extra information of knowing that he didn't lead the river. Put all that together and betting the turn here is pretty bad. |
