you don't think pair+gutters (and there are plenty) are calling?

And when you check turn you check behind river right?

depends on your opponent. if he is decent/good or if he is a bad laggy player i check behind here... if he is a fish, sure, go for value.

on the river if it is checked to you again go for some value...

why do you think there is more value on river than on turn? (He was a reg)

he plays 25/16 34% steal in SB, likely higher vs me as I play quite tight, but I can't confirm that. He might even have spewy stats on me as I am unsure when we played before
13% check raise
67% cbet flop
30wtsd

I don't have any notes for some reason but I'd describe him as a bad reg not sure why

in a vaccum with this hand on that board i am going for pot control.

13% checkraise... is that high? if it is, the more i like a check. cos i would hate him c/r me in this spot.

Oh sorry I missread that, he c/r 13% on flop (1/8) and 0/2 on turn. That's well low actually, I don't think being afraid of being bluffed is part of the equation here, it's more about getting most value.

BET:
I check river, most people don't donk river. I get value from pair+draws, some Kx and possibly a couple worse aces. I am not being afraid of being check raised with worse.
I value cut myself against pot controlled better Ax.I rep a float and a vbet with a bet

CHECK: I call a bet on a rag river(right?), I bet when checked to. I call against better AX and other hands that I value cut myself against when betting.
When he checks, I need him to call less worse hands than on turn as his range has weakened and shouldn't have almost any better hands.
I give him a chance to bluff.
I rep a value bet

preety close?

depends on opponent i guess
can go either way... bet turn, check riv
or check turn, bet riv when checked to
or bet turn, and bet riv again when checked to, hope to get value from KQ/KJ

as played prob fold now unless u have some sort of read
