So you give him credit for being able to fold a Jx here? if so, i think it's ok
but u also have to ask, if he's good enough to bet the turn with a Jx.
if you don't mind me asking wat else kind of hands to u play this way? what monsters do you bet the flop and look to c/r turn or river? |

betting river is a cheaper bluff and gets him to fold almost all hands between 77-TT, as well as 6Xss, which is like 60%+ of his range
Betting turn also sets up river shoves for when you hit / bluffs |

without knowing any historia, how are we to know if this is any good?
I prefer triple barreling anyway, if he's floating flop a lot and/or almost always bet when checked to on turn, I like a turn ch-r.
after he checks back turn, he will pretty much always have Jx, 77-TT or 6xs. Most of which he will just check behind figuring he can't get value.
If I had checked turn, I guess I'd bet out about 1/2 to 3/5 pot trying to rep a hand going for thin value. After checking river and getting bet - yes, a ch-r looks good.
We can rep strong hands but he can't really have a strong hand. |

outcome biased player ? (the tendency to judge a decision by its eventual outcome instead of based on the quality of the decision at the time it was made: from wiki) |

When he bets river we can exclude a lot of shit from his range thus making the check/raise a lesser option from betting out river. |
