I bet the turn because although I can be beat easily but flush draws and some made hands will call and I set up stack for the times when I do hit on river. I actually had in my hand a clear plan and expected a standard minraise, but this gives me direct odds to hit my draw too.

So the question is: Do you agree with the turn bet+sizing against a player with 47WTSD over 80 hands, no reads and only stats and a 'Green' color mark which means station that shouldn't be bluffed?

bet more, like 3.4
turn is where you get value so try and get as much as you can
also, play without a hud 40 WTSD is too high and 80 hands is not a sample. is NOT a sample.

against a 40 WTSD it is a relatively easy call cause this is near the top of our range and he only bet halfpot

Yeah that's why I said 80 hands, what's important is the green tag I put on him, I must have had a reason although I didn't take a note
I stick it on people when they make a very loose call

I like the fold. Probably beat here.

I make turn like 3.75 and bomb river when called.

I'd play the same vs this action.

Turn feels really small vs this type of player. if he's a station the extra 0.75/$1 isn't going to make a difference in his calling range and you are making a lot more money by bloating the pot size the river and his pot odds get destroyed relative to a $3 turn bet. We're not saving money for when he raises turn because it's a direct pot odds situation since we will be purely boat-mining if/when we call a raise.

Learn to appreciate the value of the dollar. The rest is easy. (Hurricane @ TL)Last edit: 21/06/2011 21:26
