e: nvm I don't really understand your question, are you asking about just calling the flop as opposed to raising? |

at first i thought he had a set when he donkbet quite strong , after he called i put him on QQ, AJ, JK , JQ on the flop ,maybe a QT aswell , set still possible imo cause i saw lot of people slowplaying sets .... do i still have to bet + fold trn here pls ? many thnx .... after i checked trn i guess i have to call any river except As , Ax ? if he bet strong ? |

I think ur mistake here is checking the turn. When he doesn't bet turn he most likely doesn't have a set so that leaves Jx/QQ and some draws which u should value bet. |

a few thoughts:
if you think he can play QQ AJ KJ JQ this way I guess you will have to bet the turn because it's a big part of his range and maybe he plays flushdraws this way too, I don't know him though.
the other (presumably smaller) part consists of QT/sets
in other words, bet the turn for value and bet close to pot size. your hand is good on the turn now and there is a lot of rivers which you won't like. after you bet you can't fold though because of pot odds.. he wont be able to fold worse hands alot of the time.
to make the turn action easier you can plan ahead on the flop and raise bigger, making the pot your effective stack on the turn and just shove almost any turn. |
