ABC player, 3bets 6% from blinds
fold to 4b 0/2
4bet range 2.3%
OR steals I think any two in this spot to this size.

Not sure why I don't have more reads, I probably just let him be as he plays tight/straightforward.
He will have my standard 19/6 6% 3bet stats, I was fairly tight at the table.
Basically what I thought is that against a minraise his range should be wider that his usual 6% which should tip a 4b call into +EV, is it the best play though?

both calling and 4betting is fine, he is 3betting so small i think u can call without feeling to bad about it u got position on him for a low variance spot
u can click it and u can 4bet standard, anything u do is fine basically |

you are 4 handed , you have AK , player 4 looks loose over 28 hands, the nit knows this and might be doing this with a wide range = 4bet and call ship |

K thanks, I was a bit put off by him being a nit and having ABC tag (and results obviously ) |

this is one of those spots where absolute numbers are generally wrong, a lose player min opens from the CO and someoen who you think is tight 3-bets him, chances are his 3b % in this spot is much higher then the HUD shows for basic reasons (the min open, and its CO v BTN) making this a super ez 4b |

Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light not our darkness that most frightens us and as we let our own lights shine we unconsciously give other people permision to do the same | |

yeah that's what I thought, I was fairly happy to 4b call because of that. So we decide 4b call, what would be your sizing when he makes it so small (he 3bet to $4)?

I think he's asking which is more +EV...calling or 4betting? If he's not gonna go nuts with aq-a10, kq pf and if he's not gonna fold 99-JJ ever and if we can get at least 2 streets on a/k hi flops I think calling is better |

Obv those 3 factors will never all be 100% true and 4betting or even min4betting may truly be most +EV vs this guy...I just don't know! |

in my experience a 4bet will look super strong in this spot. so I think it will fold out a lot (of both players ranges) and I'm not really happy 4b/calling without history here. I think it's a good spot to firstly 4b bluff
my reasoning for calling would be to keep dominated hands in the pot. also it keeps the button in the pot alot of the time which is good because we have AK and the pot will be fairly large already. |
