no? wat
this guy is a respected highstakesplayer whos been along for a long time, and the guy in the other hand posted earlier is a pretty nitty standard/bad player :O
why would u post something so ridicilous, this hand is pretty special, not like im calling for pure equity
i would never call in this spot, or even play the hand like this against 90% of guys on this stake =)
and also i post alot of hands where i lose and win against both good and bad players all the time, it has nothing to do with this, i just post the hands i think is interesting where something different is going on from the "norm" |

So you should only play good players and thus move on limits. Let's go play nosebleeds
seeing your last two hands, this could be the conclusion as def_jammer notices it.
but what a crazy good call. nice one. |

For noobs like me I used the calculator to see how you were on flop and turn, and you are 81% favourite on flop and 79% on turn.
Btw, clearly hotw. |

i was gonna say i disagree immensely with the flopraise but i also thought the flop was 6-8-10 for some reason ~_~. nice turn call...very tough one to make with 2 9's in your hand. |

i just like putting alot of pressure on my opponent in this spot 250bb deep, he is not just gonna monkey off with KK or something like that and shove either flop or turn so i like to put the pressure on, im well protected and i can do alot of cool stuff later in the hand. i raise small IP with a very wide range of light vlaue, bluffs and nuts against this palyer, we have alot of history
the though process here is that he is just not bad enough to shove a set or a straight on the turn when i will valuebet myself on the riv, for example if he have AA there is no reason for him to shove as i imagine he thinks i will continue with alot of bluffs + valuebet myself on the river anyway
and also if my range is bluff or set/straight he wont ship like random Ax or AT here for example, thats just bad and no reason for it basically
and with my small sizing i expect K9s, QJ KJ Q9 etc to continue on the flop, now i block alot of 9xes for him to bluff with but still i like my play alot, i just dont see him ship a nuthand here a worse player would get afraid and ship for protection or what ever, get the money in with nuts here, i dont think he would do that |
