everything you need for a call adds up

1. you can remove most overpair combos aka any combos that beat you

2. you have good pot odds

lol I wanted to post the hand with river call oops I cut it in the wrong place and then LP goes super slow all of a sudden and I can't delete it.

My question is more about turn play - against fish with these stats do you agree with the check call or would you bet?

I would donk when I hit river, and otherwise check and see what happens, I'd call a small sized bet like this on all low rags and decide on 9-A based on betsize, timing etc.
I get value from his bullshit that bets.

If I bet I will hate my life if he shoves, but nicely set up stacks to stick it in on the river and I can also bluff on overcards some of the time. I don't think I fold out better ever but probably some proportion of high cards with equity will fold.

I think if we'd know he bets when checked to with bullshit a decent amount c/c is superior and if he is loose passive/weak maybe a 50% pot bet to get value when we hit on the river and from 5x.

I think check call is probably good on the turn..

turn bet alone doesn't really have any value, he has a lot of QK random floats, nor do you need a particularly large amount of protection for your hand


if you barrel off you'll end up getting called down stupidly too frequently I think

might as well call some bluffs on the turn, tbh idk what is best on the non-8 rivers that don't flush/straight/boat us, hope someone else responds.. probably x/c, x/c vs these bet sizes on any river??
