Lol ok I have these group discussions of NL50 players and one suggestion was to actually minraise button against regs.

I tried it out and it works surprisingly often, but one thing I found is that people 3bet a lot against it and tend to 3b mid strenght hands they would otehrwise flat.
It also usually leaves me with sick odds to call IP as people aren't used to it and 3b too small :O

It just creates a new situation for me completely, but it seems to be optimal against a ton of NL50 regs.

A couple questions:
1) Would you advise for minraising buttons v regs at NL50 as default (and adjust from it)?
2) How did I play this hand?

I think I just leveled myself here too much because I minraised but he seems tight and has 4% 3bet.
I don't think I am getting 3 streets of value ever, it's 1-2 streets max. On the river my hand was just too strong in terms of hands I can have here....Should that be a fold too?

Bet flop with a plan to barrel turn and (usually) shove river. No 3bettor is ever c/f this board since they would cb their air, this means you are about to make a lot of money against their c/c range.

Researchers used brain scans to show that when straight men looked at pictures of women in bikinis, areas of the brain that normally light up in anticipation of using tools, like spanners and screwdrivers, were activated.

Yeah I put him on a range of QQKK JX, some air hardly any ace etc. and just didn't think I am getting more than 1 street and didn't want him to fold, and also wanted to make my hand look weaker than it is
But it's 100% true that people don't check fold those hands, they check call them when they check, I'm not sure why I'd think that there is more value on the turn than on the flop

i minraise on button, 2.5x may be better but im too lazy to type that in every hand i play. 3betting shouldn't really be a problem when your minraising button because its cheaper to fold, and they still have to 3bet pretty big since you have position.

So far they don't, they 3bet something like this guy :O

I raise 2.5x as a standard and against that people play quite honest with 3bet sizing between 8-10bb, but they raise 6-9 against a minraise I think a lot of them just click buttons on tableninja.
I guess why should I mind right? I get good odds and position and can play more poker
