In this kind of spot I'm minded to lead the flop. This means that against a raise you get to put the last bet in, and you will also get to barrel the turn with some FE against a caller's range rather than have an awkward turn to play with less FE if your c/r gets flatted.
As played they've made it maybe cheap enough to put a call in, but it's never going to be hugely profitable since you will find it hard to get paid on a diamond turn and there may be redraws against you too so folding will never really be a mistake here. Overall I'd fold because oop you will find it hard to realise the value of your implied odds later and also at tiny microstakes I'm guessing people don't raise very light at all, strengthening the redraws against your hand of some of his range. |
