a lot of the time villain will apply the reasoning "wtf is going on here?" and call this with a weak ace
if he spiked the river with his flop airball he just might not be in a folding state of mind
any specific reasons for doing this?

what are you trying to rep? pretty spwey imo
even villain raise the flop with Ax how could he possible fold to your river RRAI
he either have air or Ax type hand heavy , probably some TT JJ he raise the flop and check behind bcuz K hit the turn
but i dont expect he would try to turn TT JJ into bluff on this river

I can have all the sets here while he cant really have any. I wouldnt 3bet flop with a set since most regs flat sets on these dry boards, which makes his flop raise range air heavy imo, so I would just flat. When he bet river like this most of my showdown value disappeared, and I only get to the river w/ TT+ (I might pitch TT on the flop though) and 22,77,99. So I have only TT-QQ that I can balance my value range with, and I would usually play a value hand like this.

Im expecting villain to fold Ax here. Why shouldnt he be able to? Sure, he can always think "wtf is going on here?" and call. I know I would snap muck AQ in his shoes though. But it's good to know that you guys wouldnt give my line any credit.

boreHM: I had no read that made me do this. Only the reasons I stated above.

okay if you're quite confident that villain will fold Ax that makes it nice I guess
I was mostly saying that I would see randoms calling the river a fair bit

Ok, well that's good to know anyway. I usually dont make fancy plays like this so I'm not really sure what a random reg calls with =). All I know is what I would call with in his shoes.
