I wouldn't say everyone, some people don't do this with draws ever and you don't beat any vbets in a value 3b range.
And you would be surprised how many gaylords are out there that play overpairs exactly like that. But yeah as a default it's always a call no doubt |

@waga, enough ppl would check/shove overpair here actually, from my experiance... (not check/raise like this guy did)
@bigredhoss, This is my standard with any hand here. I don't mind betting bigger, but I'm used to this sizing and with keeping it smaller I can bluff smaller (and be balanced, not that its important on nl100).
I also bet here not really expecting a call, so it's basicly a check/fold or check/raise situation. if he calls he has a pair and I'm not super confident yet in my reads to valueshove the river, with this sizing I get good value from his worse pairs and keep pot smaller vs overpair (when getting called that is). |
