in all seriousness this is so so so so so terrible
this is exactly what he wants to achieve by 3betting u alot u spazzing out so he can snap it of with a light valuehand
what u should do is tighten up ur openingrange so that u can continue alot more and fight back and make him spazz instead and jamm over ur 4bet if u start 4betting him everytime he 3bets (cuz of you tightening up ur openingrange and widening ur 4bet valuerange)
this is terrible, never do this |

I have no intention of being rude or offensive, but one thing blows my mind. How in the world can you play 1/2 and do such ridiculous things that even most NL25 regs don't do, because nowadays, because of training sites and the overall level increase of on-line poker, they are too good?
EDIT: The preceding post appeared after I had written this one, so I take back what I wrote. But still, this is really bad . |

i feel terrible about shoving 22 in this spot but i do it sometimes if he gets too out of line
equity win tie pots won pots tied
Hand 0: 33.571% 33.25% 00.32% 44412120 425181.00 { 2c2d }
Hand 1: 66.429% 66.11% 00.32% 88297230 425181.00 { 88+, AJs+, AQo+ }
equity win tie pots won pots tied
Hand 0: 28.935% 28.62% 00.31% 34798853 378416.50 { Jh9c }
Hand 1: 71.065% 70.75% 00.31% 86017898 378416.50 { 88+, AJs+, AQo+ }
in all seriousness you are probably losing ~5bb by doing this. if he folds 2/3 of the time you win 13bb, and when he calls you lose ~42bb on average. this means 8.66-14= -5.33bb its a pretty big spew and hard to overcome (consider if you are a 2bb/100 winner it will take 250 hands to work off that spew) but if you have positive benefits like him playing more predictable and allowing you to open more cutoffs then the spew is lessened slightly. |
